HARVEST TIME!!!
There is so much "harvesting" going on in my life right now that I feel like I'm about to explode!
First, there's Revolution of One. Revolution of One has arrived in Carbondale and Murphysboro!!! You can get it in three places:
Rosetta Stone Bookstore [http://rosettastonebookstore.com];
New Ages Other Worlds [http://newagesotherworlds.netfirms.com/];
Neighborhood Co-op [http://neighborhoodco-op.com].
For everyone not living in Southern Illinois:
LuLu Publishing [http://lulu.com/treesong/]
Once this title is uploaded to the national wholesaler, I'll start the regional and national promotional efforts. If you know a bookstore where you'd like to see Revolution of One, let me know! I can send them a promotional flyer once the book is ready for wholesale distribution.
That's one of the biggest harvests in my life right now. Beyond that though, there is... THE REST OF LIFE!!! Work's pretty hoppin' at the Co-op; I've started tidying up my house a bit; and my personal spiritual pursuits are resuming after some distraction due to this newly released book. [I wonder how Starhawk does it? New books, mass demos, conferences, AND a deep spiritual life? Ah, maybe someday...]
Finally, in honor of the harvest season, I'm going on a big trip with my fellow Coveners! Our Tradition is having a Trad-wide gathering in Michigan to celebrate Samhain, a Pagan holiday that marks the final harvest and the end of the preceding year. It's a very important holiday to us, and I am very happy to be celebrating it with my spiritual family. AND, on the way to Michigan, I get to visit with my family-family too!
So, in other words, this has been a very cool month which is about to end in a great big season finale! The high energy has been a little intense at times, often to the point of exhaustion. But it's all good harvest, and I look forward to sharing more about it soon.
In the meantime, while I'm taking a break from the blog for a week or so, why not use the extra time in your life to take a look at Revolution of One? :) Let me know what you think!!!

Book Signing This Friday
Revolution of One has arrived in Carbondale and Murphysboro!!! I've distributed copies to Rosetta Stone Bookstore [http://rosettastonebookstore.com], New Ages Other Worlds [http://newagesotherworlds.netfirms.com/], and the Neighborhood Co-op [http://neighborhoodco-op.com].
This Friday, October 22, at 6 pm, I'll be having a book release party for Revolution of One at Rosetta Stone Bookstore in Carbondale. [212 West Freeman, two doors down from Quatro's Pizza]
This should be a big event! There will be book signings, a reading of a selected portion of the book, and open discussion on the topics discussed therein. My most recent poetry book, Poetic Revolution, will also be available for purchase and signing.
I hope to see you there! If you can't make it on Friday though, you can still purchase a copy at Rosetta, the Co-op, or New Ages at your leisure. New Ages will also be having a book signing for Revolution of One at a later date, so stay tuned to treesong.org for more details.
For everyone not living in Southern Illinois: You can pick up your copy TODAY! It's available right now at my LuLu online storefront [http://lulu.com/treesong/]. If you like what you see, feel free to spread the word!
I had a radio interview with Big Muddy News Radio on WDBX yesterday morning. Fun, fun, fun! I really feel like this project is starting to gain momentum. Before you know it, I'll be doing public speaking events throughout the Heartland -- and beyond! If you'd like to bring me to your community for such an event, contact me for more information.
On a side note, I feel like my heart and my life have been descending into quite a bit of chaos lately! Maybe it's because I just finished this book; maybe it's because of a few other noteworthy circumstances in my life; or maybe it's just because fate has decided to throw a curve ball my way. But I've been doing a lot of soul searching, re-examining who I am, what I'm looking for in life, and why I'm not getting a lot of it. It's this odd feeling of having my heart awaken to the joys and wonders of life that I am receiving -- but then this open-heartedness only inspires me to truly LIVE, to live life to the fullest, in a way that I never really have before.
I'll have more on this later... but first, let's get some more of this Revolution of One stuff goin' on! I'm very excited that this book is finally released, and I look forward to sharing it with more people soon.

Revolution of One is Fun!
Revolution of One is alive and kickin'! I received my copy today and have been running amok through Carbondale showing it to everyone. Do you have your copy yet? Here's the latest news on distribution:
For people in the Carbondale/Murphysboro area, PLEASE be patient and buy it locally! The book should be arriving on shelves within the next week or two. It's starting out at three local retail stores: Rosetta Stone Bookstore [http://rosettastonebookstore.com], New Ages Other Worlds [http://newagesotherworlds.netfirms.com/], and the Neighborhood Co-op [http://neighborhoodco-op.com].
Also for Southern Illinois folks: There are at least two book signings in the works. One will take place at Rosetta on Friday, October 22, and the other will take place at New Ages Other Worlds at a future date.
For everyone not living in Southern Illinois: You can pick up your copy TODAY! It's available right now at my LuLu online storefront [http://lulu.com/treesong/]. If you like what you see, feel free to spread the word!
Once the local distribution and kick-off events are underway, I'll be working on getting this book into stores across the continent -- and beyond. If you would like to see it in your local independent bookstore, you have at least three options: special order it, request for them to carry it on their shelves, or send me their contact information so that I can give them more information.
Thank you one and all for your support, and I look forward to sharing more on this exciting development soon!
